Innovation and soO Favourites in Group F
There are two Protoss players in Group F, but none of them is expected to advance to the next stage, at least according to the odds available. soO plays in the first match of the day against Creation and Betway regards the Zerg player as clear favourite to prevail. He has an excellent track record against Protoss opponents, so players only get odds of 7/20 on him to prevail.
Innovation will play in the second match of the day against Hurricane and the highly experienced Terran is expected to make short work of him. 3/10 is hardly exceptional value, but these odds offered by bet-at-home accurately reflect the difference in skill. Players who don’t mind taking some chances with the underdog will be paid at 23/10 if Hurricane finds a way to defeat Innovation.
Terrans and Zergs Play for Group G Supremacy
TY is the strongest Terran player in Group G and he has the chance to prove his skills against Fantasy. This is the first mirror match of the day and the veteran South Korean player is expected to win in straight matches. Punters who bet on his victory at ArcaneBet will be paid at 7/20, yet the odds are expected to drop as kickoff draws near. Fantasy is the underdog and a bet on his victory will be paid at 2/1.
In the other mirror match of Group G, Impact and Leenok will fight for what is likely the second place in a highly contested group. According to Rivalry, Impact should be able to kickstart his campaign at the 2019 Global StarCraft II League Code S with a victory. The bookmaker gives him odds of 1/2, while those who bet on the underdog can currently do so at odds of 13/10.
Protoss Players to Dominate Group H
There is a high likelihood that both Protoss players will qualify from Group H, but the final standings are yet to be decided. They will play in the opening match on February 20 and this is also the most balanced game at the stage of the competition. Patience is the narrow underdog, with odds of 11/10 offered by Pinnacle, while Zest is a slight favourite and benefits from odds of 13/20.
Rogue and aLive will wrap up the group stage at the 2019 Global StarCraft II League Code S and the Zerg has the first chance. Esportsbetting currently prices his victory at 3/10, but the odds on the favourite are expected to drop. Conversely, those who bet on aLive now, enjoy odds of 12/5 and they can improve.
The Global StarCraft II League matches will be broadcasted in real-time on Twitch, so players can watch them live.
